Brother Dan[edit]

David Baddiel presented the BBC2 Horizon programme on 17th March 2009 'Who do want your child to be?', when he talked with his younger brother Dan while he was working as a New York taxi driver. He disusses Dan's jobs and education. Dan has never worked in 'business finance'. The Wikipedia article is inaccurate. See the programme here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00jbppp/Horizon_20082009_Who_Do_You_Want_Your_Child_to_Be/

Mother[edit]

I was just listening to Radio 4, which featured Baddiel talking about racism. He mentioned his mother being born in Germany under Nazi rule, and that a Swastika appeared on her birth certificate so I took a look at the page and was surprised that there was no mention that he was Jewish (let alone about his mother). A bit clumsily phrased, shall try to jiggle it about a bit. For reference my source was: 2004-11-22 Baddiel on Radio 4. sheridan

SO sad about his mother brother i love you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.247.240.25 (talk) 22:00, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality[edit]

There seems to be some dispute over his nationality. Although he was born in the USA, he is by any definition English. ArtVandelay13 11:31, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Which citizenship(s) does he hold? Jim Michael (talk) 10:34, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PhD[edit]

I am pretty sure that he never finished his PhD. He said it on the show he used to do with Frank Skinner. Technohead1980 (talk) 20:08, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why no birthday?[edit]

Baddiel was born on May 28, 1964. He's listed as a 1964 birth here and his actual birthday is well documented elsewhere, including most recently by himself on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Baddiel/status/736462910130683905. Seems a bit odd not to include it. Notstopping (talk) 07:15, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

BLPSOURCES[edit]

As a reminder, material included here cannot include that which is only sourced to tabloid journalism, per WP:BLPSOURCES. --John (talk) 12:21, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography[edit]

Should the 'Bibliography' table be flipped? In that, Time for Bed is at the top of the table, so they the books decend from oldest to newest? Seems to be the most common format elsewhere on Wikipedia. Max263 (talk) 09:42, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, should be oldest to newest. I see that the table is able to be sorted on ascending year, but don't know how to make this the default order. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 09:53, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed. Max263 (talk) 14:24, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Now sortable. Should the Title and Publisher columns be sortable (or even Illustrator for that matter)? Max263 (talk) 14:33, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Anything here worth including?[edit]
