I am working in UNESCO’s unit for inclusive education which is currently working on a project where the aim is to distribute free educational software programs to schools in Africa and Arabic speaking countries. The school licenses to use such programs, sold to schools in the West, are too expensive for schools in these countries and we are searching for free educational software that we will burn onto CDs and distribute for free to these countries.

We are therefore searching after any information about free educational software. Both where we could get hold of it, names of producers and how we can make free software contracts with our partners.

If you could assist us with any information regarding this we will be very grateful.
