Potenitally useful news stories for use in rewrite: [1] [2]

The discussion of the Critical Mass incident has developed a POV problem IMHO. "celebration of cycling" reads like something out of their press releases. Opponents say it less a celebration of cycling than a condemnation of the automobile. Michael Hopcroft 00:15, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

What party is he in? Democratic?

Clean up[edit]

This article is mainly unsourced and most of it can be removed per WP:BLP. Additionally, the lead needs to be re-worked with much of the info moved to other sections once sourced. Aboutmovies (talk) 20:18, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Party[edit]

What is his political party? Badagnani (talk) 04:02, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

City offices are non-partisan. Aboutmovies (talk) 04:04, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, but it seems as though it might be important to at least mention his party somewhere. I would assume he's a Democrat, but I really don't know. StanHater (talk) 06:45, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
All political offices are non-partisan though usually not the office-holders. Potter is no exception: he is indeed a Democrat. Str1977 (talk) 12:41, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Biased, unsourced article[edit]

This article uses biased, POV wording, as if one of his supporters wrote this article. Additionally, there are numerous paragraphs that are entirely unsourced. This article needs a major overhaul. --1990'sguy (talk) 21:08, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
