Your story of PSG is all mixed-up. Racing Club de Paris and RC Paris have nothing to do with PSG. The "club" (no players, no stadium, nothing but money...) who joint with Stade Saint-Germain in 1970 is Paris FC. In 1972, Paris FC have to joint with RC Montreuil, and le "Saint-Germain" side, has you call them in your story, keep the name of Paris Saint-Germain and loose is pro team to Paris FC. Germain[edit]

Why is Germain part of the name of a French football club?

"Germain" is part of "Saint-Germain", the name of a city in the suburbs of Paris. The city itself was named after a saint of the Catholic Church (unsurpisingly named Saint Germain, without the hyphen)

Team Crest[edit]

Can someone explain why there appears to be a baby carriage at the bottom of the crest? 71.156.15.166 23:46, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
