No, what you need to do is create a proxyweb user, log in as that user from the proxyweb site, and then block the user. Then the user will "share" the proxyweb IP number, or I'd think so. Might need to make 1 edit from proxyweb too. -- Pakaran 06:33, 9 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Why skipped the redirect? [1] My understanding is that it is the same to the computer (i.e., not one is slower or more damage than the other). And actually redir is easier on the original writer. I'm glad we were able to come to an understanding about Lizzie. I do have one small remaining issue about the chosen title format, but this won't be the place where I take a stand on it. The format for the date should probably "(1987- )" with the extra space, instead of "(1987-)". There are too many other matters at issue to get involved in that relatively trivial debate. I've liked the AACR disambiguation format since long before I ever heard of Wikipedia. I actually don't see what is "revisionistic" with these sentences. I just stated a fact: The (West-)German government actually considered these areas "occupied" when the people we are talking about emigrated. I removed your disambig pages for Adams, Massachusetts and Lenox, Massachusetts. The reason is that there's no ambiguity: it's not true that there are "two locales" called Adams, Massachusetts. There's only one locale, but only a subset of it designated by the census as a CDP. In other words, I don't think Adams (CDP), Massachusetts and Adams (town), Massachusetts actually constitute two different locales, inasmuch as the CDP is merely part of the town. Rather than having a disambig page, I put a link to the CDP page on the town page, and have the bald name redirect to the town. This is my reasoning, anyway, but I'm willing to be argued with. It doesn't particularly matter to me whether "Shirley (town), Massachusetts" redirects to "Shirley, Massachusetts" or vice versa; when I set up the redirects I generally do whichever is more convenient -- i.e., I leave the existing page where it is and turn the blank page into a redirect to the existing one -- but I have no objection to someone reversing those redirects. To implement this block he changed the timestamp on the last person to block that address, which happened to be you. Conversion to new code

Yes, I have a very lengthy task to convert maybe 600 pics to the new code. However, I've just read somewhere on WP that the new code is buggy in Opera (I have IE) so it may be best not to convert any more pics for a while until that's resolved. Image and table width

Hi, is there some sort of clash between tables and the new image markup? The image on American Cocker Spaniel seems to have got squashed over a bit with your change.
