I have just watched an episode of The Joy Of Painting called "Nature's Splendor in which Bob Ross said, "Shoot if you want violence, turn the news on!" Here on Wikipedia, the line is "Shoot, if you want the bad stuff, watch the news." I believe the earlier line is more correct. 97.84.184.49 (talk) 01:34, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is there some reason why this quotation is better in some way? The one currently in the article, (the quote starting at 17:58 here) appears to be from an earlier episode (S17E12) than the one you reference (starting at 8:15 here), which is S17E12. I would think that the earlier quote is more appropriate here unless there's a particular reason otherwise. Tollens (talk) 08:02, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ross was well known for phrases he tended to repeat while painting, such as "let's add some happy little trees".[25]

Alexander refers here to the fact that Bob Ross used some of his individual patter like "happy little trees" and borrowed some of his unique peculiarities. [citation]

Reason: more accurate based of the shows. 75.172.52.135 (talk) 14:25, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Callmemirela 🍁 03:45, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bob was a cardentor before he was a painter.

I assume you mean carpenter? The article already mentions this in the Early life section. Tollens (talk) 01:02, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
