I live on the east coast of North America, am fascinated by the ease with which Google allows me to find available information about almost anything, many times directing me to articles in Wikipedia. I am fascinated by languages, and can say Thank you in nearly a dozen. I have some competence in reading and translating from Spanish and Portuguese, with the help of my trusty diccionarios.

I am a survivor of chondrosarcoma an uncommon type of bone cancer. I have been a computer operator, seller of baby carriers, wife and mother, single parent, an upholsterer, a dancer, programmer, customer service representative, systems administrator, clerk in a leather crafts and hobby shop. I read voraciously. Most of my collected books have to do with crafts, medicine or are fantasy/science fiction.

I've been mistaken at times for someone in the medical profession, probably because I am mother to Margret, who was born with Down's syndrome, has lived with me most of her life and developed Eisenmenger's Syndrome. I will bend the ear of anyone willing to listen concerning Margret's problems, and after husband pointed out that Wikipedia articles can be edited by anyone, I added to the Eisenmenger's syndrome page.
