Hello, great works for Japan-related articles. As you see, we are desparete need of contributers who work on Japan-related articles.

Why do you move Japanese provinces' articles to "X Province, Japan"? I think they should be titled just "X province" because there seems no possibility of name conflict except for "Awa province". --Nanshu 02:08, 1 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Sorry. Appending "Japan" is a rash. My concern is avoiding possible confliction against provinces in other contries, but it lacks concrete examples. I will move them back to "X Province", if you agree on capitalization of "Province". It is because it is a part of a proper name. Thank you. Takanoha 07:26, 1 Feb 2004 (UTC)

I think your right, Province is a proper noun. My concern is that if it is the case, so is the prefecture name. Whatever the reason is, prefecture of 'X prefecture' is not capitalized, so, I guess province should not be capitalized for the sake of consistence. It seems there is the trend that station is capitalized, so I really don't know this proper name issues. -- Taku 18:02, Feb 1, 2004 (UTC)

But I guess "prefecture" should also be capitalized.

I think prefecture should be capitlized since it is a proper name. But again I agree with Nanshu regarding this issue. I don't care much and I think it is better to put efforts to the content not titles. -- Taku 01:19, Feb 3, 2004 (UTC)

Hi, I'm not sure what has happened to your edit. It's not in the page history, and it's not possible for a normal user to remove it from the history (a developer can, but usually they don't). I think it might have never been saved properly. The same happened to me yesterday. I was absolutely sure I had left a message on mav's talk page, but 10 minutes later, it wasn't there, and not in the history either. I'll report it as a bug. Do you remember the time you made the edit? I've added a dispute notice to the article now. Angela. 14:36, Feb 5, 2004 (UTC)

Thanks a lot. I do not remember the date and time, but it was when "en" was alive and "en2" was dead. I experienced other subtle anormallies of Wiki past few days, so I won't surprise something had happen. -- Takanoha 15:00, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)

It seems to have happened a few times but as we're moving to the new servers in a couple of hours, it might be worth waiting to see if it happens after that rather than worry about it now. Angela. 02:48, Feb 8, 2004 (UTC)

Numbers

At Wikipedia:WikiProject Numbers, User:PrimeFan proposes the range for articles on consecutive integers to be -1 to +1025. ShutterBugTrekker 17:21, 9 Feb 2004 (UTC)
