Kevin, you should be more careful when editting articles. In the fire marshal entry to made a correction that was less accurate that the initial mistake. John Lindsay wasn't mayor in 1965, Robert F. Wagner Jr. was. Abe Beame didn't become mayor till '74. Lindsey was elected in '65 and became mayor Jan. 1 '66. You could have verified that right here on Wikipedia. You say you're a journalist, journalists are supposed to check their facts.Lenbrazil 12:41, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
