Moved[edit]

Moved from "The Hulk" to "Hulk" as this article is about the Ang Lee film, and this film has no preceeding "The" http://us.imdb.com/Title?0286716 Tompagenet 01:26, 5 Aug 2003 (UTC)

No consensus. Not moved per the debate below and subsequent closure in 2006. Just giving it a standard closure. Kudos to editors for your input, and Happy New Year! (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworth, ed.  put'r there  17:58, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Puny Wikipedia must recognize Hulk! Evertype 15:45, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong Oppose. Given the large number of uses, the DAB page should stay. Using what links here is not a valid metric to base a move on. It could be a valid metric for poorly edited article. Also how many users would be directed to the wrong article by this move. That's the main thing to avoid. Vegaswikian 03:35, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not moved, no consensus. —Nightstallion (?) 11:42, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Is it too late to strong support this move? There might be a "large number of uses" but almost every single one of them derives from the comic book character, and those that don't are so insignificant that they're right at the bottom of the article. The disambiguation page should be linked from the top of what is currently Hulk (comics). MultipleTom (talk) 12:58, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting this[edit]

It's odd to have a dambig page where 70% of the links relate to the same subject. We should have a sub-page for The Hulk-related items. Chris Cunningham 12:53, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd suggest slimming this down to specific "Hulk" disambiguation and let The Incredible Hulk (disambiguation) soak up the rst of the strain. At some point it'd be an idea to make Hulk (franchise), possibly from Hulk in other media (although that is for the appearance of the character elsewhere and not about the Hulk franchise itself (see for example Law & Order (franchise) and CSI (franchise) for examples of what I mean). – This appears to have been discussed a few times several years ago, but the circumstance remains (and continues to develop) that the comic book character is almost universally recognized and is used as an example in fields ranging from psychology to literature to law. It seems no more likely that this character will recede into obscurity relative to other meanings of the term than that Frankenstein will become ambiguous due to the handful of actual people with that surname. bd2412 T 00:25, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
