Fair use rationale for Image:Pittsburgseal.gif[edit]

Image:Pittsburgseal.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Education[edit]

I'm unclear as to why Gateway Necessary Small High School, Riverview Middle School, and Rio Vista, Bel Air, and Shore Acres Elementary Schools are included on the list of schools in Pittsburg, since they are all outside Pittsburg city limits. I changed it once, and am doing so again now. Perhaps some mention of the fact that Delta View is in the Mount Diablo Unified School District and not Pittsburg Unified could also be made.--Eric (talk) 15:57, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redevelopment[edit]

I removed the incorrect statement that Railroad Book Depot is the first independent bookstore in Pittsburg. Graceland Christian Books was operating in the city for many years before Railroad Book Depot opened. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 56.0.84.23 (talk) 12:45, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Photo not of Pittsburg[edit]

The photo in the information box is not taken in Pittsburg.

The photo is a of a BART station, but this is not the Pittsburg-Bay Point Station. The station pictured has "Outside" platforms (The train doors open on the right side of the train, and there are separate platforms for each direction). The Pittsburg-Bay Point station has a "Central" platform (The train doors open to the left, and the central platform is shared).

I'm not precisely sure which station is pictured (possibly Walnut Creek or Pleasant Hill), but it is definitely NOT Pittsburg.

I cannot cite references. This is personal knowledge. Mgg4 (talk) 06:12, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
