Merge?[edit]

I put up a basic page called Shadow Volume a while back; this page is essentially a duplicate of that. Neither page is close to complete, but we should make some attempt to merge the two. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Staz69uk (talkcontribs) 23:06, 29 May 2005.

One or zero?[edit]

Not sure about it but I though the area is in shadow when the stencil value is one, and not zero. At least that's what is working in my test application and in my head. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dunge (talkcontribs) 20:49, 31 January 2006.

Image[edit]

I think a picture would be nice here and make it easier to understand.

Carmack's reverse merge[edit]

Carmack's reverse probably has as much information as it ever will have. It doesn't really belong in its own article; it is just a way of producing accurate shadow volumes. There's not much to say about it, so why not put it in the shadow volume article? - Rainwarrior 23:54, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • MERGE I also think we should merge this with the Shadow volume article. However, it should be done by someone who has a clear understanding of the subject matter. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ayavaron (talkcontribs) 20:26, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
I'll start working on it. I'd like to put them all in Shadow volume. - Rainwarrior 21:26, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
