• "Not officially permitted" too bad, the work inside is one of Hoff's finest, if I have it right. In America it is now illegal to take pictures of Federal Buildings [it's called "photo reconnaissance"] but it is usually possible to get permission. • The no cameras policy is not actively policed, but one still needs to be discrete. Funnily enough there is no such policy at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra (another great deco building - there are a few pics of it on my site). I've written a new article on the ANZAC War Memorial that might interest you - the external link there has a picture of part of the main interior sculputural group by Hoff, as well as a picture of one of his 2 controversial exterior bronzes that were never cast, and that have subsequently been lost.--Gene_poole 13:39, 31 Aug 2004 (UTC)
