The assertion sounded POV to me, and so I've removed it. Saussure's theories were very popular in France throughout the 1960s, and this is reason enough for my decision to remove the aforementioned assertion. --Le vin blanc (talk) 21:21, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
