Understanding the pain of starting a potential WikiProject[edit]

Hello, Auric!

I happened upon your page while looking through recent changes, stuck around because Auric is a title that I have used for a character, and noticed that, (5 years ago?) you had started a WikiProject that fell through because no one else had shown interest in it.

I also want to start a WP that I doubt will become official, and I haven't gone through the process for that reason. I'm just here to say that I understand the pain of coming up with a project that you have passion for, but for which other people don't. I made a page for the project in userspace, and it's just hitting me that I might be the only one working on it, even though I put in all the work to make the group's page cohesive.

I'm curious: after attempting to make the group, how much work did you get done on improving Lovecraft's articles? I hope you got some help outside of a formal project, at least. (or I suppose that's what I'm hoping for myself in all this).

Insecticide: Systemic insecticides[edit]

Hello Auric, In the insecticide page in the section on systemic insecticides you removed the links from the terms "xylem", "phloem", and "seed treatment". I am surprised because the general public might not be up on these terms. They were on their own line and clumped together as "xylem phloem aphid seed treatment". Ideally they should be linked in their places in the article.--Auric talk 20:16, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
