With a solid background and support from the Missouri School of Journalism I hope to continue to succeed in my career. As a new-media evangelist I get the opportunity to follow, test, and research new and exciting web sites and utilities every day. These applications often have a lot of potential for the field of journalism and I strive to provide insight and advice on the best and most efficient means of harnessing the power of these new-media tools.

Not every new site or electronic device has as much potential but I can screen through the duds finding only the best for your news organization.

My interest in journalism was originally fostered in high school and eventually led me to the University of Missouri and their world-renowned school of journalism. As a graduate from their Convergence Journalism program I was educated in the not only the principals and foundations of journalism, but also the exciting possibilities for the future.

My background and primary interest is in television news although I also have worked in newspaper, radio, and web-only environments. This diverse range of experience has allowed me to continually be on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities.
