Doesn't appear to be very notable, as ships go. --fvw* 03:43, 2004 Nov 28 (UTC)

  • Rename to "History of the British Columbia Ferry Service" and keep. That'd be an article worth reading. Remember: from small seeds do great trees grow... GeorgeStepanek 05:19, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • I can agree with what George has in mind for keeping. —[[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 05:47, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Sounds like a good way to handle. -- Jmabel | Talk 07:17, Nov 28, 2004 (UTC)
  • Or maybe just British Columbia Ferry Service. Unless expanded real soon, delete. --Calton 05:24, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Start over with a new article, if needed. This is a single line and more a piece of lint than a seed. Geogre 14:51, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep - David Gerard 20:46, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Non-notable boat. Gamaliel 20:55, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • It's a ferry on a public-transit ferry service, where the ferries are quite large and sea-going; and not too numerous. Seems noteworthy. 132.205.15.43 20:40, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Besides, M.V. stands for Merchant vessel, not motor vessel. Denelson83 23:06, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete this. Not notable. Perhaps could write another article on the ferry service, but that's a different topic. --Improv 06:49, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete Redirect to Burnaby class ferry. BC Ferries has 35 vessels, and I do not believe that they would all warrant an article. I do not see why this one is more special than the rest. -- JamesTeterenko 04:32, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • I doubt this ship is any less notable than some of the U.S. Navy vessels we have articles on. Merge any useful content into Burnaby class ferry, or some other article that can hold the information on all the BC ferries. - SimonP 05:41, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)
  • Bad title format. If kept, the article needs to move to Queen of Nanaimo and lose the "Motor Vessel". My vote, personally, is to keep. Stub, but expandable. Bearcat 13:05, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Notable. Needs to be moved to M/S Queen of Nanaimo to keep same style as the other ferries on wikipedia.
  • Keep or re-name to "History of the British Columbia Ferry Service" Spinboy 17:54, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Re: deletion discussion[edit]

As an addendum to this deletion discussion of two years ago, I'd point out List of Washington State ferries, and note that each has an entry without controversy. More precedent, in my opinion for inclusion of every vessel.--Keefer4 07:18, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
