Thornton[edit]

As we all know, this year the league faced for the first time a scoring champion/MVP-caliber player being traded during the season. This makes how to properly document this sort of thing more difficult. As near as I can tell, the league's press releases that list the winners simply say Thornton was a Shark this year. Should we list him as such as well, and delete the "Boston Bruins/"?

Gretzky with a Rangers jersey?[edit]

He never won the Art Ross with the Rangers. A picture of him wearing an Oilers jersey would be far more appropriate. Let's not give the Rangers any credit here. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ivand67 (talkcontribs) 03:48, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, images have to be free to use and so far someone who took a picture of Gretzky in a oiler uniform has not released the copywrite on one for us to be able to use it. -Djsasso (talk) 21:41, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Howabout in a Kings uniform? He's won the Art Ross with the Kings. GoodDay (talk) 23:00, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The current picture is a FP, no need to change it. --Krm500 (talk) 00:11, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's gotta be changed, Gretz won the award as an Oiler & King; but not as a Ranger (or Blue, for that matter). GoodDay (talk) 21:00, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well then, find a FP quality picture of Gretzky in either one of those jerseys. Gretzky won the award, it doesn't really matter which image we use, him in a Ranger jersey, at a practice, or at the beach. Just that we use the best quality picture, and that is currently him in a Ranger jersey. --Krm500 (talk) 21:12, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Howabout Mario Lemieux? anything's better then Wayne 'you were not allowed to hit him' Gretzky; ha ha. GoodDay (talk) 21:25, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A little late here, but why not add the text to the picture below in this article; Shown playing with the rangers, Gretzky won the league scoring both with the kings and Oilers. Just a thoght Ottawa4ever (talk) 10:59, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Malkin added[edit]

First 2-time winner since Jagr. Season's not officially over but I'm gonna go out on a limp and say Stamkos is not gonna score 13 points in today's game vs. Winnipeg... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.189.62.202 (talk) 23:45, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
