Liam McCormick[edit]

"Liam McCormick (24 October 1916, Derry – 28 August 1996) is regarded as one of the founders of the modern Irish architectural movement and one of the most important church architects in Northern Ireland. McCormick is noted for designing the modernist Met Éireann headquarters in Glasnevin, Dublin, which was built in 1979.[18]" 2001:BB6:2D1D:C200:B59C:802D:A1C7:75D9 (talk) 23:14, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Plesse don't remove this again. Edit as required. You're in danger now of entering a serious wiki war. You are not the only person interested or with knowledge of this topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.42.47.105 (talk) 09:18, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Current text reads:

One of the main proponents of modernist and Brutalist architecture in Ireland was Sam Stephenson. Stephenson designed the Civic Offices (1979) and the Central Bank of Ireland (1980), both of which generated considerable controversy at the time of their construction. [1] In the same period, Liam McCormick designed the modernist Met Éireann headquarters in Glasnevin, Dublin (1979)[2]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:BB6:2D1D:C200:68DF:6193:705B:695F (talk) 12:59, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
