It is inaccurate to say that LotR is a "novel", esp in this case, containing as it does material from Unfinished TAles, etc. I'm not even a Tolkein fan, at last not on this level, but that's why I reverted. Meelar 19:12, 15 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Celeborn / Celebrimbor[edit]

"Celebrimbor, who is in love with Galadriel, remakes the jewel as her behest." Is it not Celeborn (a Grey or Dark Elve) that is in love with Galadriel (Celeborn and Galadriel Lord and Lady of Lorien), and not Celebrimbor bearer of one of the three elven ring? --Lyndametref 14:19, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Love triangle. Celeborn and Galadriel were married, but Celebrimbor was still in love with her. BTW, Celeborn was either a Grey Elf or Calaquendi depending on the text consulted and Celebrimbor was not just a 'bearer of one of the rings'. He was the primary creator of all the Rings of Power except the One, and the sole architect of the Three. --CBDunkerson 16:05, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
