Revolution and Dystopia was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was to delete the article.

Merge with Revolution. I am the author of the article. My intent was to "get the ball rolling" on a topic in a draft stage. Other people have done this by putting bullets on a page with just the header to guide people in the future as to what topics to write about. I don't like that approach, I'd rather only finished writing be added to established pages. 68.232.111.146 01:23, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Five-sentence editorial piece summarily attacking various revolutions, and concluding in a truism. Could be the abstract of a school paper - perhaps a very good school paper - but not alas the type or form of contribution we're looking for at Wikipedia. Samaritan 19:37, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • No useful content. Delete. (The topic is already mentioned in the Revolution article: 'Political revolutions are often characterised by violence, and the vast changes in power structures that result can often result in further, institutionalised, violence, as in the Russian and French revolutions (with the "Purges" and "the Terror", respectively).') - Mike Rosoft 01:00, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
