Untitled[edit]

Men at Arms is also the title of an Evelyn Waugh book. The Evelyn Waugh page accidentally links here. How can I fix that?

Reference[edit]

I'm basing on the Polish translation of the novel here, and would (also) like to know if this stands with the original. There's the passage when the explosion at the Assassins' Guild is discovered, and one of the guards at the gate says something which I would re-translate into English as your uniform does not impress me. If this is also the original version, then it's a reference to a track by Atari Teenage Riot, from 60 Second Wipeout. Second or Third Watch story?[edit]

Currently, the Reading Order Guide and the infobox disagree with each other as to whether Men at Arms or Theatre of Cruelty is the second Watch story. Can we come to a consensus about which is which? Geoff B 13:18, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's because Theatre of Cruelty is a short online-only story, never published in print. I would argue that it doesn't really count as a full Watch story, but I could understand either viewpoint. 107.9.45.143 (talk) 07:16, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Spoilers?[edit]

Should the review be giving out major plot elements? I realise it has to be more detailed than just 'this is a book by x, called y', but it gives away something you don't find out for about the first quarter of the novel, and which is a surprise when you do (that one of the new members of the Watch is a werewolf as well as a woman). Another Gonne is mentioned in story The Truth, therefore, it can't be the "only" handheld firearm.
