The map is just an unhelpful satellite photo of the entire Indus Valley. The Cholistan Desert, if it is in the photo, is not marked at all. 209.162.56.97 (talk) 04:35, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This page is kind of a disaster; it is written in a colloquial style, has no references, and is obviously not written by a native English speaker. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jdf8 (talkcontribs) 12:06, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Very specific environmental event that is unlikely to have lasting Notability, would be better integrated into the larger article -- drawing connections between the article and extreme weather. Sadads (talk) 17:35, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Sadads: Would it be better to merge with 2022 heat wave in India and Pakistan? VR talk 01:52, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't have objection to merging in that direction -- but I think this information is way more relevant to the political geography (the Heat Wave article is already very long and nuanced). But either direction for the merge is fine for me -- just very unlikely that this article will have lasting encyclopedic relevance, and it would be better to be maintained as part of a larger article, Sadads (talk) 17:18, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
