Hey John, I tried to sneakily vandalize your userpage, but somebody reverted it back instantly! Damn. Anyway, drop me a line since we don't talk so much anymore. --C S (Talk) 23:41, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Capitals[edit]

Hello. Your edits to Wick product prompt this comment: By standard Wikipedia conventions (see Wikipedia:Manual of Style) you shouldn't capitalize an initial letter merely because it's in a section heading. Thus

Binomial theorem

is correct, and

Binomial Theorem

is not. Michael Hardy 20:09, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Change to Common.css[edit]

Per recent discussions, the way in which Persondata is viewed by Wikipedia editors has changed. In order to continue viewing Persondata in Wikipedia articles, please edit your user CSS file to display table.persondata rather than table.metadata. More specific instructions can be found on the Persondata page. --ShakingSpirittalk on behalf of Kaldari 01:14, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Collin in Gregg shorthand.png or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Er..[edit]

This is a better way of communicating than the usual? :D Sorry, I just happened to login for the first time in a while. --C S (talk) 01:18, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Twin prime[edit]

If you hadn't been here so long I would have categorized your edits to twin prime and 867-5309/Jenny as boring vandalism. So, got an explanation? —David Eppstein (talk) 05:58, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

8,675,309 is a twin prime (twinned with 8,675,311) and neither page has a trivia section. As you point out, I'm an old-timer, so I only remember trivia sections are frowned upon. Don't really know where to put the information. Jbaber (talk)

Disambiguation link notification for August 27[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Carmichael number, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Thomas Wright. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:13, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
