Untitled[edit]

Isn't this a parody of some soap opera from the fifties? I remember seeing it when Mad Magazine reprinted their early comics in a special series. -Branddobbe 09:43, Oct 8, 2004 (UTC)

I believe the show was called The Continental, but I'm not sure. Christopher just talked about this on Live! with Regis and Kelly a few days ago. I'm going to bookmark this page and come back to it if I actually find something. JoeHenzi 23:55, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)

These appear to be based on Pepe Le Pew's amorous adventures. Check out "Le Cats Bah" (1954) in Youtube and you'll see! No, one of Pepe le Pew's cartoons just parodied the same source material in pretty much the same way as Walken's parody and half the other parodies over the decades. --50.0.192.101 (talk) 08:02, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
