I am a wee bit bemused by the location given for the photograph illustrating Brown Hill Creek. I readily concede that it is over 40 years since I lived there and that places can change quite dramatically in that time. When you say that the image was taken in the area of the bridge, I assume that you mean the road-bridge that crosses the Creek at right-angles at the far end of the Camping-ground and that you are looking up-stream, towards the group of large pine-trees to the left of the road, just short of what we used to call Mundy's Gully, where there are/were the remains of an old stone-crushing plant. This site was on the right-hand side of the road, just beyond the flat area where the pine-trees grew.

We used to live in an old house (no running water, no sewerage) in the next gully upstream from Mundy's Gully.
