"It is possible to climb the mountain in two days - first day up to the refuge (around seven hours without mules), second day to the summit (around five hours) and back to Imlil (up to five hours)." That is nearly impossible ! It takes a lot more than 10 hours to climb the summit, get back to the refuge then arrive at Imlil ! Even local people can't do that!

Believe me it is possible, we have managed that. By 10 hours I mean net time. We started the summit ascent early (around five), four hours up (around nine o'clock), 2:30 back to the refuge (around noon, packing up our properties and relaxing a bit) and back to Imlil - we managed to get back between seven and eight in the evening. Everything without proper acclimatization. And I'm no great hiker, I'm overweight office rat... Kober 11:06, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I second that, it is certainly possible. I just came back from Toubkal. We reached the refuge, with a lunch stop and without mules in under 6 hours, then blasted up to the summit in 3 hours... then back down. Rossjamesparker 11:12, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I second that too... We are low experienced mountaineers and get to the refuge in 4:30h, go to sleep and then start to walk at 8:00 a.m., stay at the summit in 2:30h and return to the refuge slowly, taking a lot of photos, resting feeling the sun... Then at 2:00 p.m. we was eating like a lords in the refuge, and after de second tea cup we start to return at Imlil and in few hours (3-4h, I don't remember exactly) we were in our room in Imlil. Definatly possible, down is so much quicker, we went from the refuge back to imlil in 2 hours 10 mins; from five to get up. Probably only possible in that sort of time in summer though.----Greatestrowerever^{Talk Page} 17:27, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
