merge[edit]

With all of the text duplicated in both Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent, the two articles make each other redundant. These should be merged. --Chris Griswold () 17:38, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Survey[edit]

Discussion[edit]

Since the versions of John and Martha Kent are no longer in continuity I edited the article to include how they are shown in Action Comics Annual #10. I'll try to upload a picture later.

Smallville[edit]

This section contains a lot of OR opinion statements and not a lot of cited fact. Needs some work. --Noclevername (talk) 21:28, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move[edit]

I think we should change the name of this page to Jonathan and Martha Kent.

Mayor?[edit]

Why is this page in the category "Fictional Mayors"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.16.204.187 (talk) 19:13, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm wondering this too. HalJor (talk) 00:10, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:KentsInBirthright.jpg[edit]

The image Image:KentsInBirthright.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

"Man of Steel" image[edit]

Lovely as the Jim Lee piece is, I think that an image from Byrne's "Man of Steel" miniseries, or from one of his early post-reboot Superman comics, would have a better fair use justification, and would be more informative to readers interested in the different ways that the characters have been portrayed. I don't have a scanner, so I can't upload one myself — anyone who does have a scanner want to take this on? —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 06:24, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just replaced the Jim Lee picture. I put one in from Superman volume 2 issue 2. At the moment, I have the first 17 comics of volume 2, so if a different image would be better, I can replace it.--Rockfang (talk) 06:55, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
