System of a Down is definitely not "heavy metal"[edit]

They were very instrumental in the nu metal scene. Heavy metal is something completely different. Njohns321 (talk) 01:03, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Njohns321 their overall genre is Numetal, but a lot of their music is categorized as heavy metal. they don't have to be mutually exclusive Ahmed0112 (talk) 23:56, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please educate yourself on the definition of the term "heavy metal". Angel (talk) 02:07, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

FIVE Groups Debut TWO Albums on Billboard 200[edit]

In addition to System of a Down, The Beatles, 2Pac and DMX, BTS debuted two albums in 2020 on the Billboard 200 chart. That makes FIVE artists. Rockermom59 (talk) 23:21, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This article says that System of a Down is a Heavy Metal band but they are a Nu Metal/Alternative Metal band BQWR (talk) 15:49, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - It says they are by nu metal and alternative metal in the infobox and musical style section. The lead genre is supposed to be broad. That's why we call them a heavy metal band in the lead sentence. Bowling is life (talk) 17:15, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
