This was my first account on Wikipedia with my first edit on December 26, 2004. I was in Sacramento, California for Christmas vacation. I couldn't figure out how to start an article. The text discussing starting an article talked about clicking on a red link to start, but there was no red link yet. I used the text I had written for Findagrave to start an entry for Eddie August Schneider. I first added info to my user page on May 20, 2005. I then switched my user name to User:Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) on December 28, 2004 so that the edits would be tied to my real name.
