This topic and drawing board are not, IMO, suitably different to merit two separate articles. As drawing board is the more common name, I recommend that the information in this article be merged into the drawing board article. Thanks. Junkyardprince | Tark 18:28, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I think that the drawing board article could be enlarged, but not by merging it with another article. The drawing table article deals essentially with an antique made mostly of wood by craftsmen (or relatively cheaper but still costly modern copies) and used just as much for writing letters, novels and the like, and reading. It is meant for a home setting. The drawing board or drafting board is a specialized tool used in offices for making engineering or architecture plans.
