Untitled[edit]

I vaguely remember an episode in which Porthos offended some alien dudes by pissing on their sacred tree. Archer refused to apologize up until the end, when he performed an elaborate dance of apology as required by the aliens' tradition. 141.217.41.206 13:56, 29 Apr 2004 (UTC)

It was mentioned that Archer got Porthos from a girlfriend, one of four; the others from the litter were named after the other three musketeers. Maybe in "A Night in Sickbay"? --Christopherlin 02:54, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)

How about the fact that it was just a puppy at the first season, but growing as the series develops, mirroring the growth of the Enterprise and its crew. I think it's significant, but not sure how to phrase it into the article. --Menchi 17:31, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Porthos-frengi.jpg[edit]

Image:Porthos-frengi.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Affiliation: Starfleet ?[edit]

In the info box, it says Porthos' affiliation is Starfleet. Do you think this is really all that accurate? Is it absolutely necessary to call Porthos 'a fictional dog'?[edit]
