I'm not sure if Mars was an older group than Teenage Jesus, but DNA defintely wasnt.
Well spotted - DNA wasn't, but Mars was. Now corrected.
DNA[edit]
Supposedly, DNA takes its name from a Mars song, so Mars has to be older.
The order from oldest to newest was Mars, Teenage Jesus, DNA. Mars are oftened considered one oft eh first no wave bands, and members of DNA met through a Teenage Jesus practice, --74.78.34.51 (talk) 22:24, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
James Chance and the Contortions[edit]
I'm not sure why the future of James Chance is mentioned without noting any of Lydia Lunch's future contributions. I have removed the sentence:
"Chance eventually left to form The Contortions and pursue his own equally abrasive musical direction. Both groups were featured on the seminal No New York LP, a showcase of the early no wave scene, compiled and produced by Brian Eno."
And reformatted the existing section to include the note on No New York.
If we are going to list future and related acts, it should be for all artists, not just one.
