Deletion[edit]

I created this page when I split Cape (see: Cape (disambiguation). Then on second thoughts I moved its content to Headlands and bays and fixed the links that pointed to this page. I have noticed that the etymology is similar for these languages. I have several questions:

Is the English word "moss" / Danish word "mos" or "mus" (marsh-border) related?
What about the Danish word MusHolm?
Which way did the etymology flow?
Did the vikings bring this word, because they moored their ships in the shallow marshes?
Does this explain the Polish word Masuria/ Maziuria?
Is this where the Irish got Mc and Mac from?
Is this a distant cousin to biblical etymology Moses (15th Century Mose)?
