I didn't dare to delete the whole page and replace it with a redirect, but I replaced the Background-section with a link to EVE Online.

Good catch; we should probably merge and redirect this article into EVE Online (or vice versa, whichever has the best title). --Mrwojo 17:58, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Yeah. That's what I thought. Since the title of the official homepage is 'EVE Online' and also the splash screen of the game reads 'EVE Online', that seems to be the logical choice. (The login-screen on the other hand reads 'EVE - the second genesis', but still...) The reason why I don't just do the redirect is because the two introductory texts differ and I don't want to just delete one of them... I'd go for the one of the EVE Online version.
