Proposal[edit]
I wikified the code, simplified the formatting, and added User:Steschke's new location map. Also updated the stats for 2004. How does this look?
Does anyone have a better understanding of the minor administrative units?
- What is an "urban-type locality"? Is it a town? = de:Siedlung städtischen Typs
- What does "total" include? It's obviously more than the raions, cities, city districts, "urban-type localities", and villages put together.

The area, demographics, and settlements for 2004 come from ukrstat.gov.ua. Still needed:

STOP! I just realized I screwed up when I transcribed the data for the infoboxes. In my converted copy of the original MS Word file, I thought a separate data column was just a note. I'll fix this in the next few hours, and compile the updated data here. —Michael Z. 00:24, 2004 Nov 3 (UTC)
- Go! I've corrected the data. In the list of localities, the third figure has been removed (it represented "Cities, including with national, republican and oblast status", and not "city districts"), and the totals line has been removed. All the headings now apply to the correct figures. Sorry for the confusion.
