I'm not sure if Critical Regionalism should be capitalized, but I went ahead and capitalized it all through the article to make it internally consistent. -- Ortonmc 22:27, 8 Oct 2003 (UTC)

"and later more famously and pretentiously by Kenneth Frampton." NPOV? - lowly architecture student

I agree, let's get rid of it. It isn't clear, but if you consider the whole idea of Critical Regionalism to be pretentious then you really shouldn't be writing the article, should you? I remember Frampton showing slides in 1978 of characteristic Russian farm roofs which he saw as precedents for Melnikov's USSR Pavilion at the 1926 Paris Art Deco exposition. Though he would be the last one to say so, Frampton came up with Critical Regionalism first, even if he wasn't the first to write about it. In fact, I can't think of a less pretentious--or more generous--person than Kenneth Frampton. Jeremy Hawker--80.203.90.128 (talk) 09:10, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
