Genre[edit]

Just to be clear, Judas Priest is clear cut heavy metal. Not speed or power. I edited the article to reflect this. -Teh aar0n

  • "Painkiller" IS a prime example of Speed Metal. "Angel" does have something in common with it, no? Echad (talk) 07:11, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Judas priest-angel of retribution cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Judas priest-angel of retribution cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:05, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lyrical References[edit]

Since most of those references are in Deal With the Devil, do they belong in the article about the album? Me, I say no. I'll try to rework it, but bewarned, I may just delete the section, since I don't think it really belongs. Howa0082 21:29, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WTF?[edit]

WTF with the statement of "Most fans critisized the last song from the album, Lochness, for being too long and 'filler'-like."? Even if it wasn't the best song of the album, rivaling the numbers from Sad Wings of Destiny, this statement would be biased and pure POV! Please - shom me your "most" fans... =\ I'm deleting this BS - FFS! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Echad (talkcontribs) 03:16, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Charts section[edit]

There seems to be a recurring problem on Judas Priest's album pages... THE CHARTS ARE MISSING! A greater list of the charts are on Judas Priest's discography page, and someone needs to fix the problem — Tha†emoover†here (talk) 03:17, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Angel of Retribution/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Article requirements:

Green tickY A relatively complete infobox
Green tickY Cover art in the infobox
Green tickY A lead section giving an overview of the album
Green tickY At least one section of informative prose other than lead
Green tickY A track listing (for "start" class), containing track lengths & composers (for "B" class)
Green tickY A list of personnel (specific band members (for "start" class), guest musicians and technical (for "B" class)
Green tickY Categorisation at least by artist and year

To meet the more rigorous criteria of the revised B class, this article needs improved sourcing. Additional improvements may also be necessary. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums/Assessment for additional information on B class in album articles. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:27, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
