Rewrite needed[edit]

This page really needs a rewrite... Cryptococcus is an encapsulated yeast. It commonly lives in bird poo such as from chickens and pigeons.

There is a good artical here: http://www.doctorfungus.org/thefungi/Cryptococcus.htm

For now I will leave it to the original authors to tackle the update.

New Revision 1-14-06[edit]

I wrote this retaining some lines I didn't think fit very well, but I figured instead of throwing away something that technically is true just because organization is bad, I would synthesize for now.

Cryptococcus neoformans used for cleanup of radiation[edit]

I notice in the article that there is no mention of the radiation-consumption properties of Cryptococcus neoformans. I am new to wiki and don't want to screw anything up, so I thought it best to just include some references.
