I know this article is biased towards road racing bicycles as I don't have much experience with mountain bikes. Hopefully somebody else will fix that. Also, I have never research nor owned an aluminum framed bike, so that section needs some work as well. Dyl 14:14, Oct 28, 2004 (UTC)

bicycle frame construction[edit]

This is a brave undertaking and the originator should be commended. Since categories for both "bicycles" and "mountain bicycles" already exist, it would be best to keep this subject focused on frame materials and construction methods. In fact since both types of bike are commonly constructed out of steel, Al, Ti, and composite, there is little need to distinguish between road and mtn. The only reason to separately discuss mountain bikes would be to illustrate how their frames are now frequently more complicated than "the basic three triangles"... jdb
