  • Delete. I tried a wider search of Groberman election to see if there was a story there, found nothing. Also, user who created article has just this one submission. Always suspicious. It's reminiscent of Hobson's choice. --bodnotbod 12:05, May 4, 2004 (UTC)

  • I have a inkling that it may be a reference to a science fiction story (Asimov? Aldiss?) about a time when polling techniques have become so advanced that you only have to ask one person in order to predict the results of, for example, a presidential election. If I'm recalling it correctly (and my addled brain well not be), the main character (who gets to be "The Elector") is called Groberman. All of which may or may not be interesting, but bears little on my vote which is, delete. --ALargeElk 16:23, 4 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
    • Reminiscent of Secret of Monkey Island, too... "When there's only one candidate, there's only one choice." It was Asimov, in a Multivac story called Franchise, and AFAIK the voter was Normal Muller. I vote delete. --Suitov 10:46, 7 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
      • Well remembered! I wonder where I was dragging Groberman up from. Still, at least I got the author right first time. --ALargeElk 10:53, 7 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
