Is this list necessary if (at the moment I'm typing this) only two people on the list have articles for them? Also, I hate to appear dismissive of the Indian Subcontinent, but I have to wonder if the lack of articles for these people indicates that "Bangladeshi cricketers", in general, are not "famous" outside of Bangladesh, in which case the title of this list would be misleading. — FREAK OF NURxTURE (TALK) 06:37, May 12, 2005 (UTC)
Well, don't you think another possible explanation is that the articles are being written gradually? Please do a google search on the yet-to-be-written cricketer profiles mentioned here. For example, a search for "Khaled Mashud Pilot" yields ~400 links to his profile mentioned in many sources outside Bangladesh. (e.g. http://content.cricinfo.com/ci/content/player/55954.html , Rediff etc). So, please have patience as we add the player profiles one by one. I do agree that the list is perhaps a little too broad, and can be somewhat shortened to include only "Famous" players. --Ragib 06:57, 12 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Bangladesh is a rather large country, with a population around half of that of the United States. But I am going to move this to "List of Bangladeshi cricketers". Calsicol 10:14, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
