A prolific poster on the rec.art.sf.written Usenet newsgroup in the mid-1990s, Ahasuerus was a regular Wikipedia contributor from mid-2005 to mid-2006, but has been on an extended sabbatical since then. Primary areas of interest include history as well as genre biographies and bibliographies. At the moment he is mostly active as an Internet Speculative Fiction Database moderator.
