==Family==

Brill is a known family of artists who came from the czech republic to israel in 1939. its allso the hebrew words: bnei rabi yehuda leib (the sons of rabi yehuda leib else known as the maharal from prague) the one who created golum.

Apart from the fact that it belongs at Brill family with a link from Brill (disambiguation) as suggested at the top of the page, I have reservations as to it's content and notability: for one thing Israel as a political state didn't exist until after the Second World War, and the Czech Republic didn't become a republic until the early 90s. Can whoever included it please provide some context, and if it is real then paste it into the proper article and not as a footnote at the bottom of this one. Thank you. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 18:19, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Little London[edit]

I am deeply unsure about the original Little London section of this entry and have changed it to point to the correct Little London, Brill - now Oakley. I hove however not removed the original completely. My family having lived locally for centuries and a great-aunt actually lived in the area being talked about at Tram Cottages - I have never heard of this area being called Little London. It does seem odd especially when you consider the hamlet of Little London is less that two miles away. I would like to see a reference confirming the original piece. Station/Railway section[edit]

The paragraph beginning "The original Quainton Road station was north ..." is about Quainton railway station rather than Brill, whilst there is a passing mention of Brill. Any wiews before I move it? Moleskin 07:33, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Windmill[edit]

Town in the World of Warcraft[edit]

The shadow city of Brill in the World of Warcraft, nowadays only populated by (friendly) undead people may have been inspired by the actual Brill, as the country it's in, Lordaeron is (or rather was, before getting savaged by the undead) inspired by Europe's green pastures and particularly England.--Kirochi —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.64.122.22 (talk) 18:06, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

– There are numerous meanings of brill and no obvious primary topic – certainly not this obscure English village. The likes of the fish and the publishers have more page views, for example. Jellyman (talk) 15:03, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
