Untitled[edit]

The official Apple Jacks Internet site says there are 3 phases "Phase 1", "Phase 2", and "Phase 3". They say Phase 3 ends tomorrow. Are there any clues on what they will do when Phase 3 is over?? 66.245.25.83 17:22, 22 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is now the day after the day Phase 3 ended, but still they're not talking about what will happen when Phase 3 ends. 66.245.124.160 14:20, 24 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
    • Now they are. We are now in Phase 4 and it will end on June 27. 66.32.74.97 01:48, 29 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Orange[edit]

They were never orange when I was a kid. I think this article is factually fictitious. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.205.211.127 (talk) 01:32, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Named for Applejack?[edit]

How is it that a children's breakfast cereal could be named for an alcoholic beverage (applejack)? I've long been curious about this.

Mascots[edit]

From the article: "The commercials featured the children singing and tumbling around. Their reign lasted almost twenty years, making them the most well-known Apple Jacks mascots and most universally associated with the cereal in the public's memory." Is there a picture of these mascots anywhere? I don't know what this is talking about. --  timc  talk   19:02, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Campaigns[edit]

Judging by the website, Apple Jacks is still using the CinnaMon campaign so i changed the article ton include that the cinnaMon campaign is still going. --George The Man 22:37, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Box1020.jpg[edit]

Image:Box1020.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Somebody get a sponge[edit]

FTA: More recently, Apple Jacks has introduced New Apple Jacks 'Crashers' - a unique cereal piece that replicates an unfortunate accident from a mid '07 advertising execution.

is this real? ♠ Trickrick1985 +2¢ :: log 23:25, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i'm also wondering about this. for me the posted sentence is useless and creates questions. what is the 'unfortunate accident'? i was doing other stuff in 2007 than paying attention to the latest gossip about apple jacks advertisement, so for me this sentence subtracts value from my life by not providing at least a reference to detail about what the heck it's talking about. Merge[edit]

  • I agree with the proposal, although I don't recommend Trivia. Perhaps under a new section titled "Promotional Campaigns?" The Man Agree? —Preceding undated comment was added at 00:06, 6 February 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Apple Jacks recalled[edit]

What about publishing this news in the article? That's the official source. --Razzairpina (talk) 23:05, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Strange Wording[edit]

The meaning of this sentence is unclear and it should be rewritten, but I am not sure how to phrase it better: "the campaign was made as adults made the cereal make 'more sense', as with the flavor" 108.211.216.188 (talk) 05:42, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

a little personal[edit]

" although it is considered to be the best cereal of all time by a middle-aged man in Austin, Texas"

Remove unsourced paragraph[edit]

The very last paragraph regarding racism isn't sourced, please remove. Thomasthedarkenguine (talk) 00:22, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
