I'm just trying to make the page conform to the established style here. You won't find any other pages here that are just complete newspaper articles posted word for word. If the page stayed the way it was before my edit, it would definitely either have been re-written by someone else or deleted. It may still be deleted, because I know nothing about the subject, so I couldn't really do much with it. AlistairMcMillan 01:14, 25 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Mount Vernon[edit]

I've never editted Mount Vernon. Can you provide more specific information on the edit(s) of mine you have a problem with? Because right now I'm not sure what you're talking about. --W.marsh 03:56, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mount Vernon is different than Mount Vernon, Glasgow. I'm not sure why I reverted (it was 8 months ago...) go ahead and re-add it if you want. But there's no need to add your signature to edits in the article namespace. --W.marsh 12:53, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trig Point[edit]

I'm intrigued by your removal of the Venessa Pillar reference from the Trig Point page. A quote from someone who asked the OS: "These pillars were built during the Secondary Triangulation of the Highlands and the cylindrical shape was adopted in order to save weight when using helicopters to transport materials because of the type of terrain encountered in that area. " There are about 196 such columns thought to exist in Scotland, usually the more remote locations. Agree that generally the Hotine Pillars are more common in Scotland as a whole.
