Dicdef. Two other pages link here, but neither would be less without the link. SWAdair | Talk 07:10, 21 Jul 2004 (UTC) Wow! 'Happy to be proven wrong. I didn't see any way this dicdef could become an actual article, but you folks surprised me. Keep. SWAdair | Talk 05:01, 22 Jul 2004 (UTC)

  • I've expanded it to a reasonably encyclopedic stub, and thus vote to keep as it can be expanded. siroχo 08:18, Jul 21, 2004 (UTC)
  • keep Why play if not to kill things, take their stuff and get the high score? The Steve 08:46, Jul 21, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Just a long definition. Exploding Boy 09:31, Jul 21, 2004 (UTC)
    • It contains a rough idea of the origins of the high score, and recent and current trends in tracking high scores, all encyclopedic info. It needs expansion, but that doesn't make it a definition. siroχo 16:29, Jul 21, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep! If you think it is just a definition, expand it. Deletion shouldn't be an easy way out. David Remahl 09:36, 21 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep: It doesn't have a lot of room to grow, but it's ok. It might benefit from explaining, a little more, how this is tied to competitive gaming found in social gaming in arcades. There were bars where the high scorer was a local legend, etc. Geogre 13:42, 21 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. A good example of how an interesting article can be made about an unlikely topic. Jgm 22:59, 21 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Agree with Jgm. I just added something about the default fake high scores that show up when you first plug in an old arcade game—I didn't know if new ones or home video games ever have those, so please correct that if they do. Postdlf 01:23, 22 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Good information. Eric119 23:36, Jul 25, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Added a bit about high scores on Internet --MaxMad 07:43, 26 Jul 2004 (UTC)
