More[edit]

This page is pretty terrible. 2 sentences describing the show, info about the future works of the cast, who produced it, and the cast listing. Needs tons more info, and I know nothing about it. I saw on jumptheshark.com some people say that owen aged too rapidly, that there was too much tragedy, Julia and Griffin got married...Some info on that (or anything) would be good

DVD[edit]

Just curious if anyone has heard anything about Season 2 on DVD. Season 1 came out and then the market went cold. I wonder if the DVD conversion of Po5 has been abandoned. -Husnock 31Jan05

Owen actors[edit]

When were Brandon and Taylor Porter on the show? This should be incorporated into the page, presumably. Ziggurat 09:22, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Should there be a reference to what Peter said about Party of Five? --71.224.24.99 16:10, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DVD Music[edit]

OK, so I'm watching season 1 DVD and I noticed that playing in the background of the season finale is Pilot Speed's (then Pilate's) song "Into Your Hideout" which was released in 2003. This show aired a decade earlier. So I'm guessing that some of the background music was changed for the DVD release (for licencing issues I assume) but does anyone have confirmation on this? --Offput 00:37, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Party of Five.jpg[edit]

Image:Party of Five.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Looking for help writing an article about the spin-offs and crossovers of this series[edit]

I am writing an article about all of the series which are in the same shared reality as this one through spin-offs and crossovers. I could use a little help expanding the article since it is currently extremely dense and a bit jumbled with some sentence structures being extremely repetitive. I would like to be able to put this article into article space soon. Any and all help in writing the article would be appreciated, even a comment or two on the talk page would help. Please give it a read through, also please do not comment here since I do not have all of the series on my watch list. - LA @ 17:25, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Characters[edit]

I've reversed the edit that put the character Bailey first in the list of characters. I thought going from oldest to youngest would make the most sense? --2001:388:6080:85:BC47:85E6:F1A9:66C5 (talk) 03:53, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@2001:388:6080:85:BC47:85E6:F1A9:66C5: WP:TVCAST states: The cast listing should be ordered according to the original broadcast credits..., so Bailey being first is the correct order according to that guideline which we follow throughout Wikipedia's television project (Scott Wolf is listed first in the rolling of the credits for each episode, then Matthew Fox). Title of the theme song[edit]

We know this to be the song "Closer to Free" by BoDeans, and it even made the record charts in the US thanks to its use in the series. But in watching the series, which I've been doing on Netflix for a while, I've noted in the closing credits that it identifies the song as "Closer to Five". This is thru at least the first three seasons, which is how far I've gotten to this point so I don't know (yet) if they corrected the title later. I hesitate to make any note in the article at this point but it probably should be made sometime. MPFitz1968 (talk) 09:56, 27 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

(Update) I have completed watching the series on Netflix, and the credits concerning the title of the song never changed (always showed "Closer to Five" in the end credits of every episode). MPFitz1968 (talk) 09:07, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Soap opera?[edit]

The inclusion of a category with this edit had me scratching my head and trying to figure out whether this series is indeed a soap opera. For one thing, there is no mention about this genre in the article, so it probably isn't. But then I looked at the article on soap opera, and see Party of Five listed there (mentioned in this section); however, there are no sources backing that claim, which leads to my thinking that inclusion of this series (or any of a number of series listed in that section) is original research. Seasons 1, 2, 5 & 6 on Tubi but…[edit]

Not seasons 3 & 4. Any idea why? Is it a music clearance issue? My wife is really into the show and blazed through the first two seasons but doesn’t want to skip 3 & 4 and go straight to 5 & 6. Any ideas on why they aren’t there? enterpriser2151 22:21, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
