Thanks[edit]

Thank you very much for your vote for my adminship. I greatly appreciate your support. ffirehorse 23:51, 24 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Actually[edit]

I have an account, however, it is not worth the hassle for me to sign in only to sign out once I have finished a minor edit. 128.187.229.83 23:23, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  1. p.s. I am at a library so this is not always my IP and definitely not my user name.

Thank you[edit]

Your warm welcome is appreciated. There‘s plenty to fix and add in Wikipedia, and I will do my best to achieve this.

Cheers, Alexanderino 01:42, 2004 Oct 29 (UTC)

RfA nomination[edit]

Hello Lst27,

Just wanted to say thanks for the vote of support at RfA. It looks like I've made the cut, and I look forward to serving Wikipedia. spencer195 17:31, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

comment[edit]

"but I'm kind of concerned about his behavior" - Can I ask what you mean by this statement? I don't think you and I have directly interacted much, and I'd like to know if this is because of anything specific. -- Netoholic @ 20:06, 2004 Oct 29 (UTC)

Think about this... by not checking the facts yourself, you are essentially giving everybody else a free "extra vote". By not finding out if the things they say are true, you might actually be siding with people who have another agenda or are just wrong. Investigate my contributions for yourself and come to your own conclusions. -- Netoholic @ 23:20, 2004 Oct 29 (UTC)

Thank You Friend[edit]

I want to thank you for your support on my nomination. It looks like I'm not going to make it but, that's life. I want you to know that you can count on me as your Wikipedian friend.

Thank you for welcome[edit]

Thanks for the welcom, I will check out some of the links. NrarerN 20:50, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Thank you too! But I'm not really a new user (I come from fr.wikipedia.org). Do you know if it is possible to have only one login for all the different wikipedia tongues? Cheers, Boism 01:26, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)

John W. Davis[edit]

I think he was born in West Virginia but was from New York at the election (like Richard Nixon (California, as everyone knows) in 1968?). Anyway I think it is worth differentiating the two, as I've started to do on the list. -- Decumanus 00:58, 2004 Nov 2 (UTC)

_Please_ change your sig![edit]

Please give consideration to changing your sig - I don't like being hit with a blinding flash of yellow every time I visit RFA. -- Grunt 🇪🇺 00:51, 2004 Nov 11 (UTC)

Much better; thanks for your swift reply and consideration. :) -- Grunt 🇪🇺 00:58, 2004 Nov 11 (UTC)

Barnstar[edit]

Thank you for the Barnstar! RickK 05:19, Nov 14, 2004 (UTC)

You're welcome. --Lst27 (talk) 17:39, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I thank you also -- a welcome surprise. :-) May I ask if it was for anything in particular? You and I hadn't crossed paths recently to my knowledge, and I'm wondering what of my words, if any in particular, caught your attention/spurred you to leave me the barnstar. At any rate, thank you very much -- I appreciate it! Jwrosenzweig 01:30, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • I "third" that! Thank you SO much. - Lucky 6.9 18:20, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Sockpuppet[edit]

Hi Lst27! So I am a sockpuppet because I only have 13 edits? Sounds like the same reasoning to me like one saying that Wikipedia will never work because everyone is allowed to edit (and to add wrong information). However, I don't feel insulted. Sockpuppets are cute :-) --toffelginkgo 20:28, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Thank you[edit]

I very much appreciate your support on my RFA. Joyous 00:12, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)

Bureaucratship[edit]

Thanks for your supportive vote of my bureaucratship. Unfortunately, the vote was judged to be too close, but I hope you'll support me when I run again. :) Andre (talk) 15:38, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)

Vote for Deletion[edit]

I came across this page the other day National Sales Tax? Let Them Eat Cake which seems to be a POV rant with not much encyclopedic potential. I'm still kind of new here and the VfD policies (not to mention procedure) still somewhat confuse me, so I thought I'd bring it to the attention of the guy that welcomed me. Hope you don't mind either flinging it into the VfD or cleanup. Thanks! sunbird 23:18, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)

My adminship request[edit]

You noted "Support after 1200 edits" with your neutral vote. Just to let you know -- I'll be there tomorrow, assuming the current rate of vandalism provides such easy pickings. I'm up to 1169 right now. Thanks for your support (and for encouraging me to go on this binge.) --jpgordon{gab} 05:37, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)

A quick note to say thanks[edit]

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for your support in my request for adminship. It was certainly a wild ride, and I really appreciate you taking some time out to contribute. ClockworkSoul 16:20, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
