Valencian[edit]

You can sign your comments on the talk page by typing ~~~ or, if you want a timestamp, ~~~~. You can find the ~ at the end of the list of special characters under the edit window, in case your keyboard does not have it.

Please note that, this being a wiki, there is no person in charge of any given page or section. You as a reader can change anything you think needs to be improved in any article, even rewriting an article from scratch if that is the most economical option. It is generally a good idea to justify sweeping changes to an article in the talk page. Personally, when I remove text I copy it to the talk page with an expalnation of why I did so. The hope is that the article gradually gets better by the addition of more contibutors with different perspectuves. Unfortunately, progress happens more slowly in any article related to a real-life political (in the broader sense) dispute.

Talking about disputes, I have noticed that Periku has been reverting your edits to the main article at least three times. I hope you will be more civil than him and avoid getting into a revert war. At the very least, you should record on the article's talk page what it is you are trying to say that Periku is reverting. — Miguel 14:00, 2005 Mar 24 (UTC)

Please note that the spanish version of the article es:Idioma valenciano has not been marked as {{POV}} ("The neutrality of this article is disputed"), but as {{disputed}} ("The factual accuracy of this article is disputed"). If you have difficulties to understand what POV is, please read Wikipedia:POV, Wikipedia:NPOV. If you intend to mark this article as {{disputed}}, please specify in Talk:Valencian which information in there you consider to be inaccurate, as the spanish and english versions are pretty different articles. In that case, you may be asked for references to back up your assertions.--Periku 04:49, 25 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Thank you for your kind words. The user has not edited the page since may, and as it is a dynamic IP, it is unlikely that the person making those edits is using it now, so warning the talk page may not be fruitful. If similar edits come back, please drop me a line. -- Avi (talk) 14:56, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
